Certified Life and Health Coach, futurist, spiritual experiencer, artist, disruptor, holistic entrepreneur, and graphic designer, Rodney Dodson says he is “obsessed with natural health, teaching abundance, and plant power.”
He continues, “I personally struggled with depression, along with severe anxiety for many years during my late teens and early 20’s. I haven’t experienced either in over 15 years. Whether it’s emotional trauma, physical or spiritual ailments, there is almost always a way out.
One step at a time, one good decision after the next, I began to truly thrive. Through proper diet and lifestyle changes, along with deep inner emotional and spiritual work, I was able to reverse past struggles. I was healing – through proper diet and lifestyle changes combined with deep emotional and spiritual work, I chose to dedicate my life to it. I knew I had to share this with others. I spend the majority of my life now encouraging people to live a life aligned with the concept of holistic living. Caring for every triad of wellbeing. Mind, body, soul.”
Nutrition: One of the prime causes of illness is malnutrition. Yes, you can eat all day long and still be incredibly malnourished. Malnutrition basically means poor nutrition, which can be caused by a lack of any of the nutrients that your body needs, including protein, vitamins, and minerals, essential fatty acids, etc. Our sessions care for the nutritional components of health by determining nutritional deficiencies and laying out solutions. Food charts, recipes, DIY’s, consistent mentoring, and accountability. It’s fun and it works!
Aromatherapy: Essential oils are concentrated and aromatic plant extracts that have been used for many years for cosmetic, medicinal, and even spiritual purposes. Aromatherapy assists your body’s natural ability to balance and heal itself. Truly pure and chemically effective essential oils can help physiological, psychological, and spiritual practices to enhance your healing process and overall happiness. We will use them often in our work together.
Meditation: Meditation is the practice of deeply focusing your mind. It can promote relaxation, mindfulness, and a better sense of inner peace. There are many ways to meditate. One technique is Vipassana meditation, also known as insight meditation. Vipassana is a traditional Buddhist and Indian meditation technique for enhancing mindfulness. I incorporate other meditation as well as Vipassana as it has so much success with my patients.
